I like to run the vid's and listen to the music and sounds of the bike while reading the posts and seeing the photo's.

What does Jackie think of all this now that she's been over, traveled with you a ways, and gone home?

Currently you are in some of my favorite areas of California. I went to school at Diable Valley Jr. College in the Bay area (Mt. Diablo area) where my mother lives. It was a magical time in the late 60's and early 70's and I've feeling some travel envy. I hope you try some of that great seafood along the coast and boy are you in for some glorious days down 101!

my best to you...Susette aka Limnessnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3505434595026982929.post-39021626771943596862010-11-02T14:31:53.713+00:002010-11-02T14:31:53.713+00:00Mr Motorcycle – I have done that a few times. My horticultural knowledge is very poor.

Charlie6 /Dom – I adore my heated grips because they mean I can leave my thick gloves in my saddlebags! I remembered the history lesson! I laughed when I saw the Kit Carson Pass sign. LOL

Oz – On Sunday I was in a bar having dinner and watching the baseball. I went to the restroom and laughed as I saw three guys putting on Halloween make-up. It was very funny seeing them helping each other!

BeemerGirl / Lori – One day I would love to ride the Tail of the Dragon as I have heard so many people talk and write about it. Thanks for the invite! I didn’t mind not being able to spend more time in Tahoe, as I have been there before.

AOTW – I must go ride the Cat and Fiddle one day, as I have never done it. I hear they have average speed cameras now. That was quite a trip you had to the Ace!

mq01 – I can see what you mean about not moving. Sorry I didn’t have time to meet up. I am enjoying the warm temps once more, but in about two weeks I will be getting back to the UK and its much colder weather!

Axel – For a long time the green moved across the USA very slowly, but the last few weeks it seemed to have moved much quicker! As you say, not much red left now! Coming back on Concorde would have been a real treat!Gary Francehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05163380727432573785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3505434595026982929.post-12369103643362353112010-11-01T21:43:35.900+00:002010-11-01T21:43:35.900+00:00What great pictures again, thank you for sharing. ...What great pictures again, thank you for sharing. But it is sad when I look at your tour route at the bottom, seeing nearly all red turned green, just a small stretch along the coast left, and you back in the UK. After this epic journey, and its real time reporting, you would have deserve a flight home on Concorde. But as they say: its not over till the fat lady sings. Looking forward to your final stretch.Axelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10417449196759841872noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3505434595026982929.post-33110849290301897262010-11-01T16:57:33.585+00:002010-11-01T16:57:33.585+00:00ahhhhhhhhhh home! im so glad you're enjoying s...ahhhhhhhhhh home! im so glad you're enjoying so many of these roads! i get spoiled by them, i love these roads! it makes it very hard for me to ever consider moving :) fabulous gary, simply fabulous!

ps, if you have time/opportunity, let me know when you're further west. ooooh, judging by your map you may be here?!?... btw its great riding weather this week, the Bay Area is expecting 70-75F days thru Thurs AM.mq01https://www.blogger.com/profile/11742343758057005313noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3505434595026982929.post-54178050967078146492010-11-01T12:55:17.991+00:002010-11-01T12:55:17.991+00:00Wow what a road Gary,
