You are planning to ride it? Yikes!!! In the real world, with the chance it might have dirt land on it??

Now that's even more impressive. That is truly a work of art.

That is brilliant work Gary, please pass on our compliments to the artisan.

What's the significance of the 7:24 hour engraving?

No Name – That fancy metalwork is courtesy of a very talented engraver. It won’t be long now until the bike is finished.

Eve – Nope, it didn’t come from the Wild West, except if you mean the wild west of London, which is where the dealer (Warrs) building the bike and I came up with the idea.

Ian – The gold won’t be seen at all thankfully, but I am interested to see what affect it has as the base coat.

KT – Thanks! It is rather unusual....

BeemerGirl – I cannot believe what a great job the engraver did. Only about another week until it all comes together.

Canajun – Don’t worry, there will be lots of pictures of the finished bike!

mq01 – I am thrilled and you hit the nail on the head. The finished bike will be a reflection of the past.

Trobairitz – The guy that did the engraving certainly is a master. What really surprised me is he does all that work with setting anything out, nor does he draw on the metalwork first. He just gets a new piece and starts engraving it, keeping just a picture of the end result in his mind. He is truly amazing.

David – Yes, I am planning to ride it. In fact, this is my new touring bike. It will get very dirty at times.

Charlie6 – The engraver is retired and works occasionally now, just from his shed in his garden. As he has only seen parts of the bike, I have told him I will ride it to his house when it is finished so he can see the completed motorcycle. I will pass on your compliments.
