One of the Blogs I read often is “Road King Classic” by Axel. A little while ago he wrote about making covers for his Sat Nav bracket when the unit isn’t mounted on there.
Axel told me he had sent me something in the post. Well, that has arrived and I opened the package to find a Betty Boop cover for my Sat Nav / GPS unit....
This is really cool and looks excellent on the Leading ladies.
Take a look at Axel’s blog to see how these were made.
Thanks Axel! We must meet up when I get back to the UK, so I can say thank you personally!

Happy you like it, its not in any catalog, self-made with simple means, but unique. Tried to find a black and white Monroe or Betty to match your Leading Ladies style, maybe you are more successful in the US. This colored Betty Boop comes from a stand at the SOFER 7 rally - which you visited in the past.
Please accept it as a small thank you for the daily reports on your USA trip. Once you are back in he UK, I hope we are able to meet.
That's seriously classy Gary and kudos to Axel too!
This thing looks really like typical American style. You know, it was very fashionable to have such things on the planes in USA during WWII
Harley Davidson is truly a very nice motorcycle brand. It has already set its reputation among motor bikers.
Axel – yes, I really like it. It goes with the bike really well and as you said in your blog, I have already seen Betty Boop on Route 66. Again, many thanks, it was very good of you to make this for me.
Geoff – I agree, Axel obviously has many more talents than blogging!
MBW – I think it fits with the Hollywood Actresses theme of my bike very well. I have seen similar images on US planes at airshows I have attended in the UK.
Harley-Davidson For Sale – You are absolutely correct!
Betty Boop is such an icon for motorcyclists, she is a perfet fit for The Leading Ladies! Yeah for Axel!!
Eve - Yeah indeed!
