Considering rain was forecast, it was a good turnout. There were many bikes there, lots of friends to see and catch up with and a “best bike” competition. Here are a few photos of the evening....
The Ace Cafe
One of the rows of bikes
It was a well attended event
Cool custom bike, by Nick Gale
Very cool rear fender
Whoah!
Nice Bobber
No, I don't know why either!
Harley Race Bike
What did he put in his tank?

Mark Battistini, of Battistini Custom Cycles
I liked the back of this jacket
Oh, and what bike won the best bike completion? I am happy to say it was mine. I won tee shirts, £100 worth of parts at Battistinis Custom Motorcycles, bike cleaning gear and tickets for a bike rally trip to Faro in Portugal. As I won't be able to go to the Faro Rally, I donated the rally trip prize to the next Ace Cafe event which is raising money for a children’s charity.
A great night out.

Thanks for the pics, a shame I could not make it
Gary:
congrats ! on winning all the loot. Looks like your bike in photo #2 .
We have BBQ bike nights here too. 1st one is next week on May 4th. It's great to socialize and reacquaint yourself with others whom you don't usually see on a daily basis.

Wet Coast Scootin
Did you beat Nick Gales Predator - he won't be happy!
Well done all round - its making me jealous I need to win something!
Your red bike is pretty sharp looking. Congrats on the win!
Bleiglass – You missed a good evening – I hope to see you at one of the future Harley nights. 27th May is the next one.
Bob – Thanks and yes, it is my bike in picture #2. That is the good thing about these nights – talking to people you haven’t seen in a while. Have a great night on the 4th if you are going to attend.
Ian – Yes, Nicks Predator was there. I hope you win something in the custom show at St. Tropez. Have a great trip down there and I will see you on Friday night in the bar!
Chris – Thanks. The red bike seems to be liked by a lot of people. There are not so many radical customs over here, so there is quite a lot of interest any that are around.
Having just seen the weather forecast for the trip down - you are doing the right thing - why do they think there will be snow in Burgundy in May???
Ian - I hope the ride down through France isn't too bad. If you are really likely to get snow, then take it easy! I will have a hot chocolate waiting for you at the other end!
Cingrats on the win...well desserved...!
Baron - Thanks, it was a fun night!
