There must be some bends here somewhere!

With my son Charlie, we flew across the Atlantic so we could ride at Daytona Bike Week.

This is our video we made.

We wanted to make a record of our trip, not just what happens at Bike Week.  We hope you like the results.  The benefit of videos like this is they help you remember the trip, so I am sure to look at this in years to come.

Happy riding everyone!

Oh, we can thoroughly recommend riding on a beach - what a blast!

Florida has its own beauty, but twisties/curvy roads is not one of them. Elevation changes are hard to come by as well. But, as you say, the beach is a lot of fun.

As I mentioned on Facebook. Brilliant video, kudos!

Thomas - I have never ridden on a beach before and it was tricky to stay at the speed limit. Okay, I admit, we didn't try for long!

Trobairitz - we most certainly did during the days. Our headaches in the mornings meant that we probably did most nights too.

Thanks Dom.

Good times, Gary. I envy you for riding in the sun ;-)

Why did you ride Triumph (not that I mind the brand, no, not at all)?

Hi Sonja - the sunshine felt very good indeed. We tried to rent Harley's, but all the local dealers raise their rental rates by stupid amounts because the demand is so high. Then we tried to rent Vespa's because it would have been fun, but they were even more expensive (they mainly cater for tourists renting by the hour). Then we found a renter who had lots of different bikes, so we decided on Triumphs. I am glad we did.
