Harley-Davidson 110th Celebrations in Auckland, New Zealand
We arrived in Auckland, New Zealand in time to join the Harley-Davidson celebrations for the 110th anniversary. One of the first sights we saw was the 328 metres / 1,076 ft) tall Sky Tower....
Walking in the city, we heard a rather loud drum band playing, so led by our ears, we went and found them They were very loud....
The apartment building we stayed in was in central Auckland, near the waterfront....
Later that night, the view from the apartment was spectacular....
We went to the HOG Rally on the Saturday....
A HOG patch I had never seen before....
Jackie meeting one of the locals. Actually, he was from New York, but had moved to New Zealand....
Just seconds after this picture was taken, Jackie tripped over a kerb and hurt her foot. Being the trooper she is, she continued to walk around. It wasn’t until sometime later we discovered she had broken a bone in her foot.
The Rally had the usual stalls, motorcycle displays, chapter games.....
All good fun!

Like you say Gary, all good fun... except for Jackie's broken foot. I hope it's not too bad and she's still able to enjoy the rest of an amazing trip.
Wow, Jackie is quite a gal. Pretty sure I'd have looked for a rolling chair and demanded to be pushed. Hope it is not too painful for her to enjoy the rest of the trip.
So nice to see Harley love is world wide.
The foot really put some pain into that fun. Hope she mends fast and, yes, it all looked fun. Who couldn't have fun in New Zealand! LOL! Just beautiful!
Jackie:
Oh No ! Hope it doesn't hurt too much and also that it doesn't ruin any of your plans. It's amazing that you managed to keep on walking like nothing happened. Here's hoping that the NZ sun makes it heal faster

Riding the Wet Coast
Happy Harley Hundred and Tenth in NZ and here's hoping the broken foot bone heals quickly.
Looks like Tons Of Fun!
Thanks for all of your comments, especially about Jackie’s broken bone in her foot. Update: Now we are home in the UK, she is able to take the weight off standing on it, but finds the “moon boot” uncomfortable to wear, so stubbornly doesn’t. Painkillers are still needed!
